The second place we went on our tour was a lovely park west of Sanya, but closer to Sanya than our first stop.

We followed a paved pathway through pleasant gardens to the water's edge.

It was a lovely beach but we were told it wasn't safe for swimming. However there were youngsters swimming around the rocks and finding beautiful shells which they tried to sell to us.
