The bus from Manzanillo cost $37 and leaves approximately 9, 10, and 11, AM. The trip takes about an hour and will drop you in the center of Barra De Navidad.

If Barra is not your main destination it is definitely a must see if you are staying in Manzanillo.

The main street is not very long and leads to the Malecon, which juts into the water and gives a spectacular view..

After leaving the short section of shops the street follows the top of the barra which separates the beaches. One on the laguna and the other on the ocean.

It is not uncommon to see license plates form Canada on these streets.

VILLA OBREGON?

The bus from Barra De Navidad to Melaque costs only a few pesos and takes only a few minutes. It winds through the streets of a small village nestled to the South of Melaque.

I believe the village is called Obregon.

The main street, behind hotel row, which faces the beach, offers most amenities, including two bus depots where you can catch a bus back to Manzanillo for only $37.
