It is, about, ½ an hour North of Huatulco on Carretera 200.

Within a few miles you will come to the bustling community of Pochutla.

WE MADE A WRONG TURN AND LEFT THE HIGHWAY	THIS STREET WAS BLOCKED AND WE HAD TO BACK OUT

THIS PICTURE WAS TAKEN THROUGH THE BACK WINDOW OF THE RESTAURANT WHICH WAS PERCHED ON THE EDGE OF THE MOUNTAIN. IF YOU LOOK CLOSE YOU CAN SEE THE HIGHWAY CUTTING ACROSS THE FAR SLOPE
INSIDE IS A VERY PLEASANT RESTAURANT PAUL GOT THE FEELING THE OTHER CUSTOMERS WERE NOT PLEASED TO SEE US. I HAVE A FEELING THAT IT WAS THE WAY PAUL IS DRESSED. I HAVE HEARD RUMOURS THAT MEXICANS DON’T LIKE PEOPLE WHO DON’T WEAR LONG PANTS AND A SHIRT	EL MIRADOR DURING OUR TRAVELS WE SAW MANY PLACES CALLED `EL MIRADOR’

OCOTLAN DE MORELOS

Ocotlan was a strange town. The streets were very confusing. If you can see, to your right, as we were coming into town there is a small sign, `no traffic straight ahead'. We didn't see it and ended up the wrong way on a one way street. We should have turned to the right. Twice we stopped for directions and both times got someone who spoke very good English. However the second person told us to turn to the right at the end of the street we were on. It was a dead end street so we had to turn left or right. The arrow on the wall in front of us pointed to the right. So, as the man had told us, we turned right, into oncoming traffic. It was a one way street going the other way. Both, the man, and the arrow, were wrong.
