We arrived in Taxco too late, all the silver stores were closed for the day.

The entire city is build on the, steep, side of a mountain.
Streets are narrow, winding, and steep, usually one way, and very slippery when wet.
Because we had arrived late, people were going home, we were able to find a parking spot.
After much walking, from where we parked the car, we found El Centro.
After asking a couple of, different, policemen, neither of whom spoke English, we managed, to find a hotel at a reasonable rate.
Ok, OK, to be politically correct, the first cop was a police lady.
I can not find the receipt with the address, though I doubt that would help you.
You have to start at the edge of the Plaza Borda (El Centro) and take the street to the left of the HSBC (Hong Kong Shanghai Banking Corp.) bank. Go down a bit then make a hard turn to the left, follow, down, along a row of vendors, and when you get to the end of the concrete railing, on your right, turn right, and go down and down and down.
Stay tuned, pictures of the journey back up, from the hotel, may make it clearer.

I awoke to the sound of rain.
Slipping my pocket rain shroud over my head, and a plastic bag over my camera, I ventured fourth to explore our surroundings.
No sooner had I started taking pictures than the rain came to an end.
